MobilelMe is Working for Me -- at Least as of Now!

I have a MobileMe account (I'm a long-standing .mac user) and after a bit of
trouble for the first few days getting MobileMe to accept a credit card
change everything has been working just fine. I have an iPod touch and a
MacBook Pro.

However, the Apple forums are filled with persons having a myriad of
problems, some quite serious. My two main areas where synchronization occurs
is in Mail and iCal. As of now the only glitch is that subscription calendars
don't synch, a known deficiency and hopefully one that Apple will soon
address.

So how is MobileMe working for others who frequent these discussions?

Yes, seems OK now. In fact I'm changing my Email accounts over to @me
ones, as the IMAP system works very well now (it's much better than the
mess Gmail made with theirs).

I did have a few days where iWeb wouldn't update my site, and I did lose
Email for half a day. I don't use much synchronising myself (I only have
one computer), other than as a backup.

The only thing I'm waiting on is the promised 30 day extension to my
subscription.

I had one of my five .mac email address not work at all until yesterday.

When it was working two of the mailboxes within it were totally hidden
at the MobileMe server, though they had the emails in them.

With a bit of jiggery-pockery I've got it working again 100% now, touch wood :)

No. Neither Address Book, nor iCal Calendars will sync reliably.

To use a technical term, MobileMe SUCKS!
