Is it possible at all to do anything to configure the search function at
the top of every window ?

Everytime I seach for a file it starts by searching Contents, instead of
File names ... Can I get it to start with File names ? 90% of all of my
searches are for file name.

Also is it not possible to have the search results window include a
column for location and for file size ?

Tks everyone.

I would like that as well.  The best thing you can do is let Apple know
that this is something you want!  That way they know about it and can
possibly put it on their list of improvements for the future.  Go here
and tell them about it:
