MAC OS 10.4.5 here.  I want to copy a DVD.  When I put DVD it
automatically loads and starts operating.  How do I prevent this?  I
want it only to show up on my finder so I can copy it to my hd and then
to a blank DVD.  Of course if there is a short cut to bypass copyng it
to my hard drive I would prefer that.

Open the System Preferences application (which is in your dock unless
you removed it) and select the CDs & DVDs panel. The last item in the
page tells your machine what to do when it sees a recorded DVD.

"Congurutulation!!!" - The subject line on some spam I received last night.
I have no idea what it means, but it's such a cool "word" (by which I mean
pronouncable sequence of letters) regardless.

System Preferences/CDs & DVDS/when you insert ...

If you've only got _one_ drive, you'll have to make a copy somewhere.

O'Neil: Like what?
Teal'c: I am unsure, he is concealing it.
