Command-Tab Error noticed when using Quickbooks

Hello

Something annoying happens when I use quickbooks on my mac.  Also I am
using Leopard.

When I am making entries into the Quickbooks register, my keyboard
responds normally until I hit the Command-Tab to look at a browser,
for example.  I finish looking at the browser and go back to the
quickbooks via command - tab.

This is where it occurs...ill point my mouse into the register window
and my keyboard will not respond...i just hear a noise from the
machine like a system error noise.  I have to double click the
register window to pull up a check window then close that window and
go back to the register and my keyboard will now work.

Finally, I think I have it set so that my browser is in one Space and
quickbooks is in another.

Any ideas or suggestions?

your best bet is to report the issue to Quickbooks support.
