Oftentimes Camino 1.5.1 will not even go the the cnn.com site, let
alone play videos (even though I downloaded flipmac). It seems others
are having the same issue. Any suggestions? thanks. stk

Have more than one browser on your Mac. If it doesn't work with Camino,
it might work with Safari, for instance. For what it's worth, I have
just tried CNN with Camino and it's fine (at the moment, at least).

Use a different browser for the CNN site.

The problem with playing CNN's videos is in Flip4Mac not Camino.

Yes. Flip4Mac will not play CNN's videos reliably. There is an
information page about this at the CNN Web site. The Flip4Mac folks are
aware of this and recommend turning off Flip4Mac in the System
Preference prefpane and relaunching your browser to watch CNN videos in
the Windows Media Player instead. The problem, as I understand it, is
that CNN's Website uses Java to control the videos and Flip4Mac can't
interact with that for some reason.
I've never had any version Camino refuse to load CNN but I often have
trouble with Reuters due to one of their servers (today.reuters.com)
being very slow to respond.

Hmmm... well, I've got CNN loaded on Camino 1.5.1. How often does it
break?
It's also playing video, though it seems a little disjointed. What
happens when you try to play a video?

Works fine with Netscape 9.
