I use an eyeTV box and software from <http://www.elgato.com/> . They
have excellent customer support and regularly updates the software.
You can record from over-the-air, cable, digital set-top boxes, etc.
Then using Toast you can burn your shows to DVD, the two companies share
common interfaces.

Thanks. I'll give that a look and see what I can figure out. It's something
I want to do now that I have enough hard drive space to do things like
that...
