Hi there,

I have a 17" iMac G5 w/ 768 MB RAM running 10.4.7.  The past 2 or 3
months, I will be surfing away and I'll start to notice a blue-ish
tinge in certain areas of the screen.  The discoloration moves w/ the
windows and often seems to be brought on by dragging a window around.
Usually, soon after I notice this, I will get the messge that the Mac
has crashed and needs to be rebooted.  Normally I'll be in the finder,
Safari, mail or some other normal app when this happens.

Has anyone seen this before?  Hardware or software?  I'm thinking
hardware.  Possibly the logic board, graphics, RAM or VRAM.  I'm not
sure if I should try wiping and reinstalling everything since I'm not
really happy about losing my preferences, etc.

Also, Apple replaced the logic board and power supply free of charge in
March due to the computer spontaneously shutting down.  The current
problem started maybe 3 months after that.

If anyone has seen this, please let me know.
