My neighbour's lad's G4 iBook (10.4) can't connect to his wifi system -
I think they have a Belkin or Netgear wireless router. They too it to
the "genius' who put a new Airport card in but it wouldn't connect to
the in-store network. He thinks it is the logic board not seeing the
card. A new logic board is uneconomic for him so I guess the only
(wireless) option is a USB dongle.
Can anyone recommend ones to try or avoid ? And what the pitfalls and
gotchas are likely to be.
I also remember some discussion on here (I cant find it by Google) where
someone recommended a compact dongle that hinged through 90 degrees so
that it stood "up" rather than "out" - that would be the preferred
option - if anyone can remember which one that was.

Griffin SideKick - still got it in mind for if I go 3G USB donglewards.
