My neighbour's lad's G4 iBook (10.4) can't connect to his wifi system -
I think they have a Belkin or Netgear wireless router.  They too it to
the "genius' who put a new Airport card in but it wouldn't connect to
the in-store network.  He thinks it is the logic board not seeing the
card.  A new logic board is uneconomic for him so I guess the only
(wireless) option is a USB dongle.

Can anyone recommend ones to try or avoid ?  And what the pitfalls and
gotchas are likely to be.

I also remember some discussion on here (I cant find it by Google) where
someone recommended a compact dongle that hinged through 90 degrees so
that it stood "up" rather than "out" - that would be the preferred
option - if anyone can remember which one that was.

Thanks for any info.

Griffin SideKick - still got it in mind for if I go 3G USB donglewards.
