Now I'm utterly confused then. I see this:

I see this even after deleting the bookmark, quitting Safari, opening
again and re-adding from scratch. Don't know what to do about it now.

It looks as though they stopped using their own CSS for entries after 6
May so the font size for the feed and the article is no longer 12pt but
that of your default font size.
I'd left mine at 16pt without any problems until coming across that
feed. I've now reduced the default by a bit for the moment.

Bingo - that's it. Had never even considered that setting before.

Must be that no other web site uses it these days - I've never seen it
on any other site or RSS feed. In fact I'm surprised to learn that RSS
can be styled.

Ah, I was looking at the article in NNW, where I have a custom theme/CSS.
In Safari it looks broadly like your screenshot.
