They also mentioned they'd be trying to shorten the gap between releases. The fact they *had* to switch compilers to build 2008 presumably cost them a lot of time. As it stands, opening any 2008 app brings up a registration prompt. If I cancel, it closes the app. So it looks like I'll have to register with microsoft. Rob > It is on their website now. 180MB. I've switched to iWork with Office 2003 in an XP VM as a safety net. Changed the default apps for .doc and .xls to Pages and Numbers in work today.
