They sent me an invite too, I'm not sure if that's because I am a
Scotsys or Cancom customer. Hopefully there will be a wider choice of
products as a result of the change.

sh.t, my friend works there and I was hoping to get him to help me move
house on saturday.  Some chance of that.  I'll have to ask him why I
didn't get an invite...  Anyway, according to him they shouldn't have
the same stocking problems that were evident when Scotsys owned the
shop.  He's certainly happier about the way it's being run now.

Drove past last night - looks just the same to me (except for the 'Cancom'
signs of course).

They appear to have bought Scotsys's retail business, that's all.  Scotsys
have never been all that good at running shops.

I went past on the bus a couple of weeks ago and the Cancom sign was on
what had been the Scotsys shop.
