I have been running Aperture under 10.4.11 for a few weeks now, and just
happened to notice this claim on the Apple website.
Leveraging the next-generation RAW image processing in Mac OS X Leopard,
Aperture 2 delivers images of astounding quality, offering superb colour
fidelity, increased shadow detail, reduced noise and advanced highlight
recovery. Realise the very best results from every image by applying new
RAW Fine Tuning controls, adjusting RAW rendering on an image-by-image
basis.
Has anyone noticed any difference running under Leopard ? Does it do a
better job with Aperture ? Or is it just the Apple copywriters using
artistic licence.

Hard to answer that one in my case as too many software updates
converged to allow me to use raw for the first time. 10.5.2 brought in
support for the Ricoh GRD just around the same time as Aperture 2 came
out. I only really started using Raw at that time.
What I have found better is range of editing tools available using 2.0.
