Essentially a new twist on Bejeweled:

Looks good - I like the way that the orientation of the iPhone/iPod Touch is
actually a part of the game, determining which direction the blocks will
fall.

As soon as it's not requiring a Jailbroken iPod I'm getting that.

A gentleman is someone who knows how to play the bagpipes,
 but refrains from doing so.

I will get it as soon as it works on a jailbroken iPod!

Seems a bit of a gamble building up hype before it is released.

Out of interest, how much space do apps tend to take on a jailbroken
iPhone/Touch? I don't have much of a feeling for the size of ARM (?)
apps.

It looks like a neat game. I'm not sure how well it will last, as it
didn't look like anything "new" ever happened in it, but I suppose
Tetris proves that doesn't really matter!

Cheers,

Chris

Bit of a piece of string question!

But the standard apps are:
Maps.app        424kb
MobileMail.app  608kb
MobileNotes.app 736kb
Stocks          332kb
Weather         1.8Mb

I guess the weather one has loads of picture in it.

Sab will happily play bejeweled for a long time, and she has had that
for ages.

Blimey, it does doesn't it? But they're all pretty small.

And that just carries on and on?

They are noticably smaller than the same sort of thing on the mac.

Pretty well. It gets harder as there is less time before it ends. It
does go in levels though. I am assuming his game works the same, as he
mentions in the video it is the step past bejewelled. I guess we will
know if he comes up with a demo.

Trouble is, pricing of those sort of games.

That's incredible - what a brilliant use of the tilt function... I'd
definitely get that if I had an iPhone or iTouch; just so long as the
gameplay were right (eg difficulty ramp, addiction, etc)

No 3G. Fewer megapixels than an N95. Lame.
