The Pages update seems to be to do with Helvetica Narrow being used as a
substitute for normal Helvetica, and some sort of page-size-when-comments
-are-added issue.
No word on Keynote or Numbers that I'm aware of.

That's fantastic news! It was one of my biggest gripes over the use of Pages,
and the subject of a long rant in a previous post.
Many thanks to Apple!

Still unusable until split panes or freeze frame are implemented, then.

I know that SWMBO has some sort of problem in Numbers where the control over
x-axis labelling on graphs is a bit poor. I doubt they've fixed that but I
won't know for sure until I install the update.

For most people this translates to "it still works okay". If it wasn't
crashing on you before the update, then it probably won't now.

That's very much what I'm seeing.
I only see one bug in Pages myself. Using anything other than 'exact' in
the line spacing creates an alternate spacing pattern.
