Probably dug or something, as I added 30 seconds for photoshop, and it
was just under a year, then it was a year and 9 days after I hit submit.
So I did a refresh and it said 384 years, so I went away and came back,
and it says -68 years, 0 months, -1 days -6 hours. So I think someone
forgot to cancel out people playing silly buggers, and overflowing
numbers!

firefox and photoshop seem to be clear 'losers' in this so far.

I would say that it shows either how rich mac owners are, how bad
photoshop is or how common software copying is, as those two are free
and photoshop is far from it.

Either that or all those people are actually waiting for Finder
without realising... that's about the only thing that beachballs for
me, largely due to me telling my smb-mounted NAS box that it's allowed
to send its drives to sleep.

Irritatingly, a Finder beachball also beachballs over VMware. WTF?

Oh, and Chicken of the VNC takes forever to give up when the remote
box is mistyped or not answering.

Oh god, and all the donkeys.  Every time I do anything on this machine
there is a silent beachball, if one of my two external hard drives has
gone to sleep.  I have no idea if there is a cure.

Execution of the tech lead responsible for it, followed by execution of
his replacement should it not be fixed in the next .0.0.1 increment.

This one -really- annoys me, second only to the 'oh no, a mounted drive
that was there when you closed the lid at home but isn't when you open
the lid again some 40 miles away' shuffle. It's usually faster to
reboot* than it is to wait for the machine to sort itself out.

Cheers,
Ian

*By reboot, I mean hold down the power key and then switch on again. It
won't usually allow you to simply reboot.

IRTA 'excrement', but it's still early.

Gosh, not seen that one thankfully.

Oh god yes.  None of that filthy, convenient menu stuff.  A nice power
off that buggers up apps and things.

I seem to have made my machine friendlier by ditching my dock enhancer
and other dock app.  Perhaps they are Panthery things that don't really
like Tiger. Despite apparent compatibility.

Vanilla isn't exciting (except for vanilla freaks) but it still tends to
be best.

Wireshark is the worst offender here.
