Does anyone know of a good car system for the touch ? do the fm systems really work that well. I had an itrip before they were legalised and it was not that great. I am looking for something on which I can listen to my ipod, it charges etc that doesn't cost too much money. Any advice ? I've tried 5 different FM transmitters and they varied from fairly poor to totally useless. However I sold one of them and the person who bought it said it was great - it seems to vary greatly on your car and where you live. What I did notice was that the ones that plug into the cigarette lighter were much better than the battery powered ones, and the belkin cradle-type one was the best of the lot (but still had far too much hiss and interference for my admittedly-picky ears). Unless you go to something that talks to the iPod via the dock connector (eg an iceLink), supposedly the best quality systems are the headphone-socket-to-cassette-adaptor thingies. It's fine with every iPod that's been connected to it, including the touch.
