I thought maybe as VM were cable, they wouldn't need it (based on my assumption it was something to do with the phone line). But, if so, might I need it in the future post-VM? Nope, the MAC to move ISPs is only relevant if you're moving from a BT-wholesale-hosted ADSL provider to another one.
