Yeah, I have had very little luck scripting the Print interface on Mac OS X.
The CLI tools might be a much better option (unless Panther has improved on
this, but I can find no evidence of it).

I tried to send a fax from the command line, following the intructions
from 'man fax' but I get 'Permission Denied' errors.
efax: Thu Nov 13 21:09:36 2003 Error: can't open pre-lock file
/var/spool/lock/TMP..03273: Permission denied
Then I tried is as su, I get further, but it never actually start
dialing , it gets to this line:
efax: 09:16 dialing T915472049
but it doesn't actually dial.
Also, I think but am not sure, that one needs to install GhostView to
fax Poscript files.
Is there anywhere one can go for help for these sorts of issues?
thanks
