Friend requested an email change. I purged the old address from the Address book and from Previous Reciepinets in mail, but the old address still comes up as an alternative. No idea what the correct method is. What I do: start a new message begin entering recipient stop typing when "bad" address shows click it (maybe right-click?) choose forget address  SignatureTim lance_1012@hotmail.com > Friend requested an email change. In the mail.app, go to the Window menu and select Previous Recipients. This will pop up a window with all your old addresses in them. Yep, it shows them all. If the original poster is still getting the address popping up after he's deleted one of the addresses, it means he's got other variations in there he need to search out and destroy. |
