It's a fairly simple matter of copying a keychain to the
~/Library/Keychains/ folder and adding it to your keychain list in the
Keychain Access.

What if it changes on the server though? Is there some way I can trigger

I think the question is more about Mac OS X login passwords than
passwords used within the Keychain.
There should be a way of setting up NetInfo on each machine so that it
will look at NetInfo on the Mac OS X Server machine. I am not sure
exactly as I don't have Mac OS X Server.
