Now that this machine is rebuilt and everything looks fine, I'm having the
same problem with Hogwasher that I had before.  Trying to set it to get all
msgs from all groups and download them all in one connection.  Had this
working before and it doesn't seem to be happening now.

Reason I want them to download is so the other filters will apply to within
the message bodies...

Hi, it might be my problem but I do not understand what exactly your problem
is. Except for the larger binary groups HW is working fine for me and I have
a setup in which I download all headers of some groups, all complete messages
of some other groups and only specified messages for again other groups. The
mark for download and the download is all in one pass and this was usable
even when I still was dialing in.

with kind regards / met vriendelijke groeten,

That's how I thought it worked before.  What I've done though is create a
filter/folder and had to set each group to save as text.  But that's no good
really as when the msgs are purged the text file will still be saved.

What I think I'll do now is dump it and reinstall the program to see if it
works better next time...
