I've tried installing ethereal (via fink) but ran into syntax errors
on compilation.

Does anyone know of any other ethernet sniffing software (freeware?)

Thanks,

Dale

Ah, i hadn't tried this. After mucking around with the documentation
(and apt-get update) I finally managed to get  it installed and running.

Thanks,
