I want to prevent certain applications from hogging DSL bandwidth. Is there a
simple way to slice up the b/w pie, granting only so much b/w to each app?
The Google results I come up with all discuss using a PC router, or such,
with custom b/w mgmt. software.
Ideas for an elegant OS X solution?
Thanks,

Please, no "Go Google this" replies. I wouldn't
ask a question here if I hadn't done that already.

And, if I understand correctly[*], since Tiger dummynet is available in
ipfw (instead og just a mention in the man page, like before), so that's
another option.
[*] Someone told me. I haven't yet looked at it myself.
