I hope someone can help me. For the past two days, I have not been able to download anything from any groups in Thoth or MT-newswatcher. I can open the groups and post, but it will not let me download anything. The only thing that I did recently is use the new TechTool pro for OSX (Panther 10.3.9). If running this program has done anything that would affect my newsgroup programs, I can't figure out what. Everything else works just fine. My e-mail is not affected, and I can surf the net without a problem. Anyone have any ideas? I used the thoth log feature, and here is what it says: Log opened. Thoth version 1.7.2 C = server command. The news server is rejecting your login -- see the lines that say "502 Authentication failed" Does your news service have a download limit? Maybe you've exceeded it.
