Please be kind as I am new to this. I have a 11g PCI card in a Mac G4
on 10.3.9. I'm using a Linksys WRT54G (wireless router). I'm using WEP
and all the other security options. The connection works fine after I
set this up, but when I reboot the G4, it doesn't recall the settings
and I have to re-entered them. I know that having Wireless SSID
Broadcast disabled doesn't send out the name of the network, but I
would think there would be a way to save this information so I don't
have to enter name of the network and key phrase each time. When it
reboots, I select Other from the Airport menu bar, and it shows doesn't
find the previous settings. Any suggestions? Thanks!

try System Preferences -> Network -> Airport -> By default Join. You
can enter a specific SSID and Password.
