Howdy folks

I boought my Imac G5 a month ago and can use the internet from my home
since wednesday.  When I'm using Safari to access a site, I often have
to start downloading an internetpage a couple of time before Safari can
get it.

How can I check/test where the error is?  Is it in the software, my
hardware or my provider.  And how can I check how fast my connection is?

PS I have used the internet a lot in the past, but always on a Windows
PC and never on a computer I owned.

Dunno what your problem is but there was a DNS/BIND/OSX bug that
troubled me a while back.

Make sure you are running 10.3.9 or fiddle with your dns server entries.

Here is one of the threads talking about the problem.
