I will soon be giving a g3/266 to my mom as her first computer.
Mom's 100 miles away, and I'm sure she will have MANY questions.
I would like to work on Mom's Mac from home to show her things, and to fix
things.
She will have Dial-up and I have Cable.
Both machines are running OS 9.1 ( won't use OS X ).
How can i work on Moms machine from afar?
Hope you can help....Thanks....DaveC...

There are versions of VNC for Mac OS 9, but I think you'll find screen
updates over a dial-up connection to be agonizingly slow.

There are a few ways.
VNC was mentioned, you can download that for free from
VersionTracker.com, just search on VNC.
The 2 methods that I currently use for remote controlling a mac are:
Timbuktu: http://www.netopia.com/software/products/tb2/
Apple Remote Desktop 2:
