I just ran across this on the web: "CMS (TNU-PCMCIA) PC Card Adapter"
(do a Google search on the string). It appears to be a way to add a
PCMCIA card to a laptop with a USB connector.

If it works, it would be a way to use older cellphones (and other
devices) that only use PCMCIA cards on an IBook that doesn't have a
PCMCIA port.

Has anyone seen this or tried one out?

Well, it's been discontinued, there's no indication it works with a Mac,
and the one vendor I found that actually has them in stock is asking for
over $240...
