I've got a 2.5 GB file on a MacOS 9 machine and I want to copy it to a
MacOS 10 machine. I tried mounting one machine's disk on the other,
but I cannot copy files larger than 2GB that way. What else can I try?

If both machines have FireWire and either of them support target disk
mode, that's the way to go. It's inexpensive and fast. Other
alternatives include an external drive and FTP.

Standard output is like your butt. Everyone has one. When using a bathroom,
they all default to going into a toilet. However, a person can redirect his
"standard output" to somewhere else, if he so chooses.  - Jeremy Nixon
