Can't Type in URL Bar or anywhere else

I'm running OSXv10.3.8 on a 1GHz G4 and new Firefox windows won't allow
me to type in the URL bar or anywhere else. It's as if the browser has
disabled my keyboard. The original window, however, works.

Interesting also is that this doesn't happen in Camino.

Is there a manual for Mozilla 1.2.1? There are a number of
things, especially in the Mail window, that don't seem to work or I
don't know how to use (with Mac OS 9.2.2) Thanks, JohnB

Have you tried the FAQ at http://www.mozilla.org/start/1.5/faq/

Yeah, it's for 1.5, but the only manual they have right now is for 1.7
so it's closer to your version.

If that doesn't have the information you need, what are you having
trouble with in the mail window?
