I'm thinking of getting a Mac Mini and want to use as many of my old USB
accessories with it as possible.  I have a Logitech Trackman Marble Wheel
and Ortek Extended Keyboard, both USB, but both are from 1999 and 2000.  The
Marble Wheel has twoo buttons and a scroll wheel whichk clicks when pressed
down.  Will the keyboard and trackball work OK, or will they have some
limitations?  I think they're both USB 1.1 and the keyboard has two USB
ports in it, like the old iMac keyboards.  If I get a multiport USB 2.0 hub,
plug the keyboard into one of the ports and plug the trackball into one of
the keyboard's ports, will the hub be able to treat the keyboard and
trackball as 1.1 devices and everything on the rest of the hub's ports as
2.0 devices?

Is there a store near you that sells the Mac mini? If so, call over to
that store and ask if you can try your keyboard and trackball on the
store's Mac mini. Odds are, they will work fine.
