Does anyone know if the ram from a 450Mhz G4 will work in a 733Mhz G4?
The listings on crucial for the 450Mhz is

+Power+Mac&mfr=Apple&cat=RAM&model=Power+Mac+G4+%28350%2C+400%2C+450%2C+a
nd+500MHz%29&submit=Go>

and for the 733Mhz

Power+Mac&mfr=Apple&cat=RAM&model=Power+Mac+G4+%28466%2C+533%2C+667%2C+an
d+733MHz%29&submit=Go>

They look the same apart from the Part No.

Also would if I put the HDs from the 450Mhz into the 733Mhz G4 will
there be a problem booting from the system that was used on the 450Mhz
or will I have to reinstall for the 733 G4. If I have to reinstall and
do an archive and install will things like the Wacom Tablet still work
or will I have to install the drivers again?

I will appreciate any information you can give me to help me decide the
way to go.

Mactracker <http://www.mactracker.ca> indicates that both models have
the same minimum RAM speed (8ns), so it should work. You might check to
see if the firmware version is the same on both G4s. See
<http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60839> for Apple's
article on firmware and RAM.

That depends in part on what system is installed on the older machine.
The Sawtooth shipped with 8.6; the Digital Audio with 9.1. The pre-X
installers tailored their installations to the hardware they were
running on; so it would be better to install a fresh system on the drive
after it's in the newer machine, especially if you're using a system
older than OS X.

If you do a clean install (recommended) rather than an update, you'll
either have to reinstall any non-Apple drivers or move them from the old
to the new system folder.
