I have an ipod I am selling because I bought a new one. My new one is
synched up to my iTunes. Before I sell the old one, how do I erase it
and reset it as if it was new? I don't want my iTunes copied to my old
iPod - I want it wiped clean.
Thanks.

You can reformat it like any hard drive, with Disk Utility.
OTOH, the various iPod firmware update utilities can also reset it, I think.
