Anyone have any ideas as to why my mighty mouse has stopped scrolling
the page downward. It will only scroll up the page now.

The preferences haven't changed.

The problem exists regardless of the program

JR should be along shortly ... he's a dab hand at coaxing the little

It is mostly due to dirt and finger slime gumming up the optical encoders
inside the mouse..... Been a problem from the get go..... I used windex
on mine and then rolled the Trackball VIGOROUSLY, back and forth in the
direction that it wasn't working, fixed it for a couple of months each
time, untill it finally failed completely......

Only the trackball roller mechanism is a badly designed piece of sh.t.
The rest of the mouse seems fine.
