Hi there.

Having an issue with a Seagate Barracuda drive.  It just won't wake from
sleep.

Any suggestions?  I've looked and found threads detailing issues with
other Barracuda drives taking 90 seconds to wake, but they mainly seem
to be referring to SATA rather than ATA drives.  This drive won't wake
at all, the machine needs to be powered off then back on.

Cheers,
Andy.

Check Seagate's web site for technical assistance.

I actually used the 'chat' function off the technical support section of
the website, all three that I spoke to claimed to never had heard of the
issue.  No-one there was particularly Mac-savvy, either.

Andy.
