I'm thinking about buying a 2.33 GHz MacBook Pro
with 2 GBs RAM

What kind of performance can i expect compared to
my current system... dual 1.25 G4, MDD, 1.75 GBs RAM?

I'm particularly interested in rendering graphic images
from mathematical formulas... the app must run under
Rosetta.

thanks

Erm.

Funny that this question was posted _verbatim_ to this group and another
just over two days earlier. You should probably read that other thread.
The OP got some decent information. As with that post, we can't really
tell you how a specific app will perform under Rosetta. Any chance
you're "also" using ArtMatic?

Which apps are you using? You might check on any forums for those
specific apps what the experience is with others who use those specific
apps on an Intel-based Mac.
