i know this isn't a mac question, but i'm hoping someone
can help me.  i'm a longtime mac user and always find
helpful people here.

My old sony clie nx70 is dying. I bought a used one and
want to transfer everything over. But there's a problem
with the wordsmith docs not syncing properly.

So i thought i'd just back up to MS and restore from MS
on the new machine. But i get a message saying, "The
backup set that you selected is not the backup data of
this device."

How can i get around this?

thanks

Suggest you visit <http://1src.com> and first search the Sony
NX-Series forum, and if that doesn't help post a question in the
NX-Series forum <http://www.1src.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58>

I have found the 1src.com forums to be extremely helpful in
learning all kinds of tricks for my PDA (a Sony CLIE TH55).
