Hi,

Can Safari OPEN & play .swf (shockwave) files?

I had one sent to me , a xmas joke thing (a snowcone) and I can only open it
in Internet Explorer only.

I have tried, but nothing.

I looked up the file and it was ³greyed out² like it didn¹t exist at all and
yet it was there...weird...

On the tool bar (under help) there is a thing called ³installed plug ins²
and I have looked at that and it says it can open .swf files.

What good is Safari then, if you want to use it in replace of IE?

Is Safari still in its infancy?

Any ideas?

Cheers.
