I have original WriteNow floppies for sale plus manual (remember when
you used to get a manual with software). Best word processor for Mac OS.
Want it to go to good home. I use OS X now.

$30

That's generous draino, I want much more than a dollar for the walk to
check my PO Box. $10 and a door to door limo and I might think about
it.

I'm not sure which is the greater insanity, the price or the thought
anyone would pay anything for a cruddy piece of software that Apple
wouldn't even put their name on.  I never called it WriteNow, I
remember it as NoWay, the program that made Bill Gates look good.

Nikki

PS sorry Andrew.

Hey! Hang on! I wrote my Phd on WriteNow!

I used WriteNow on a Mac Plus at varsity (late 1980's).  Compared to Word
4.0 WriteNow was lean and mean and could be used in conjunction with a RAM
disc.  Word 4.0 was slow and cumbersome by comparison.

Probably a bit irrelevant these days but back then it was great!  Maybe
more suitable for a museum now -- unless you are still running a Mac Plus.

I'll give my copy away (in box with manuals) for free if somebody
wants it and can arrange pickup (it's truly not worth the postage.)

Alternatively, if anybody really likes a 10 yo word processor compared
to even Macroplop's newest release, they could install Basilisk II for
Mac OS X and run it on System 7.5.5 under that :-)
