1. Can anyone suggest why putting two 512 MB (PC133) Ram modules (bought
from an Apple reseller) in my G4/466 has slowed everything down? -
particularly when switching between apps, there's a 1-2 second delay

check in system profiler, as to what the machine is recognizing, you
may have a dud sim.....
I noticed the biggest jump in speed when I upped my g3 imac from 320MB
to 768MB, was in switching between apps rather than opening....
