picked up a 7200 for my dad to use and have had trouble booting it up.
here's what happens:
Boot up sound
Happy Mac (hard drive clicking away)
Nothing... Extensions don't load
I have tried: pulling the memory cards out and putting them back in.
Ditto in with Vram.
It has 2 hard drives -- tried puling each out, but with one I get
(descibed above) and the other gets a question mark
Tried booting the computer from system (9.1) install and get it won't
boot
any thoughts?

replace the logic board battery, probably a 3.6 volt 1/2 AA lithium battery

Hold down the shift key as yu start. Maybe the first ext is a bad one.
If it does start, check out the load sequence and remove it.
