No, you can't. That doc is "About the Mac OS X 10.2.8 Update". And,
what's more, it isn't about the Combo Updater (though it may as
well be).

The Combo Update 'about' document is
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25525
[Linked from within the above]

Neither has a link, at present, that will enable downloading a
10.2.8 updater. Searching for 10.2.8 updaters also fails to produce
anything (at present).

... and now it's pulled, after killing Ethernet on many machines and
crashing hard enough to kill my drive structure on this Lombard
PowerBook (many other Lombard users have reported the same thing - a
screen full of damaged graphics followed by a hard lockup).  That even
recurred after a full 10.2 reinstall followed by a Software Update
upgrade to 10.2.8 direct, so it's endemic methinks.

     Oh well,

saw that on /. not good, this is the sort of crap we expect from the
beast not apple

thankfully I have had zero problems with it, its actually fixed most of
the annoying finder bugs, and even improved the infamous SMB vanishing
file one

I've had no problems either (12" G4 Powerbook) but knowing how life
works this could be my last news posting :-)

Yeah, I saw. Unfortunately after I'd installed. Ethernet seems the
only problem thusfar for my G4 400, and that isn't a big deal for
me, most of the time.

I'm sure they'll be on it quickly.
