Canon camera comes packed with a program called PhotoStitch. It's
licensed and works very well. It's pretty much the only decent one
around. There's also a shareware/freeware version but it's hard to use.
I also recall of a Photoshop plug in but you'll pay $$ for it.

Not shareware, but Photoshop Elements has a photo stitcher.

PE is good value for money if you're keen on digital photography.

There is an app called PanaramaMaker that may do what you want - on my copy I cannot see any
shareware or registration info at all - so it may be freeware.

PTMac from www.kekus.com

You could also use the Panarama Tools plug-ins for Graphic Converter, or
Photoshop, but this is a very un-intuitive option. PTMac is pretty cool.

Afew years back Macformat (UK) had an app called TB Panorama on their
CD. You might have had to register online, I can't remember. I used it
sucessfully on several occasions. I can probably dig it up if you need
further info.

You can get photo stitcher from Canon but it will cost you about 20 - 30
$AUD. You will need to contact them directly. If you know someone with a
recent digital camera purchased (canon is the one that I use) then ask them
first.
