Hi guys,
I suspect it's probably of little benefit, but thought I might post this
here in the hopes that whoever burgled my house last month might try and
sell my stolen iMac to someone with a clue. :)
Specs:
Intel core duo 2.16 GHz 20-inch iMac / 1GB / 250GB HD
(White case, "normal" keyboard)
Model # A1207
Part # MA589X/A
Serial # W87044EGVUV
Airport ID # 0019E30E37CF
Ethernet ID # 0017F2D107EC
Bluetooth ID # 0017F2BAB125
It'll be missing the white Apple mouse, as they stole a 3rd party USB 3
button mouse that was attached to it and the original mouse was still in
the box in the cupboard.
Stolen from Duffy, Canberra in mid-November.
Cheers,
Chris

Bummer Chris - hope it helps. Just of interest to the group I purchased
Undercover from Orbicule ( http://www.orbicule.com/undercover/ ) which not
only tracks stolen macs via IP number but takes screen shots and pictures of
the thief with the inbuilt isight camera. They have some very entertaining
stories about recovering macs. Police like it as they an actual photo of
the thief.
Cheers

Or the turkey who bought it from the thief. (Or, not impossibly, an
innocent party who *thought* they were getting a genuine second-hand
iMac and took the vendor at his word.)
Sure hope Chris gets it back, though he'll be lucky to.... A MacMini
would be even easier to steal!
