Ummm , it seems to yes
I just configured my email, as a test, on ozemail (part of iinet) as an
imap account instead of pop, & it seems to store the sent messages on their
server...
So you mean provided ozemail supports imap then I don't need to configure a
server BETWEEN their pop account & their computers - I can just get them all
to read their messages & sent items off the ozemail server ??

To answer my own question, yes, this works and iinet said they support imap
connections so we will see how we go........
