New update just out.....

Hi,

I have installed the update the just came out from Apple and it included
Safari

Still cant get this thing to work at all

Still wont open at all

Delete .plist file( thought that might help)

Using Firefox atm , but would like to use Safari again one day......

Might be worth rebuilding the launchservices database?

If not comfortable with Terminal commands, Onyx and similar tools can do
this.

I've also heard of Dock aliases getting 'confused' after updates, have
you tried launching Safari by double clicking on it from it's original
location in /Applications/ ?

Remove anything in ~/Library/InputManagers; few work with Safari 3,
especially SpeedDownload. Been quite a thread in the update download
page on MacUpdate and I had the same problem here.
