What did they say? It seems I'm still having trouble. Word just
changes from English UK, back to English US on a regular basis. No
matter how many times you change, make default, whatever... it cant
take the hint!

This is a known bug with Word. In all the OSX systems and Word programs
I've ever used, none of them ever dealt with converting to the UK
dictionary on a permanent basis.

Are you sure that you aren't just going back to old documents that have
already been created with English US as the language. If you make
English (AUS) your default language then all new documents should be
created using that dictionary. AUS is better than UK for us because it
contains place names and other words peculiar to Australia.
