i have just installed 10.4. Prior to the installation, using 10.3.9 i
was able to use my external USB mass storage device. Now it won't come
up. Has apple changed the set- up for these devices?
It did come up on the desktop once but froze the computer and i had to
switch off the power to get the 'puter back.

Only just installed Tiger?? Boy, are you behind the times. I thought
Panther was DEAD!
