My employer subscrives to a MSDN-type thingy where they gets lots of
software, including Office for Mac and Virtual PC products.

They don't use them - they have no macs - can I use them at home?  or sell
them?

I think that would be OK as long as you tell your employer and make sure
they know about it otherwise when they go to sell it later they could
infringing. Just make sure they know

I sure you can't. I doubt if the licence agreement lets you do that.
