I used to work on software. sometimes some was good and sometimes not so
good. depends on the company making it don't you think? or the managers?
More than a coder can do. anyway.
Here's a small tale. I bought a power macintosh years ago. I spend thousands
of dollars on it and at the time I thought it was a good deal. Before my
birthday rolled around they were cheaper and apple had made faster models.
What do you think the chance of them replacing it was? Well they said it was
too far apart. I think that's just an excuse.
More managers I bet I was talking to. I told them about the job I had, and
reminded them I had software to write. Once I had written a tetris clone,
and it was better. Management didnt see it that way and wanted more and more
and more from me. I reminded Apple about this.
No such luck :( :( :(

Last week I guess, or it could have been longer, and army guy a military
one, came through town. One of the bars he stopped at had a dress policy
that didn't include the half of a uniform he wore. This guy was thrown out!
And boy he was swearing too, swearing louder and longer than he ought to. I
don't say one way or the other how this should have come to pass, but upon
reversing from his parking space he clipped a pole with the tail of his car.
Taken right off!
So really I guess you could say I hold no respect for the military when they
come out swearing and crudely too. You might as well have shown me a photo
of a cute puppy or kitten.
I guess I should be thanking you now for the kitten photo. Thanks Dave!
